Standard we work to

We design and build to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, level AA.

What this site does today

  • A skip link to the main content on every page.
  • Semantic landmarks, one level-one heading per page, and a logical heading order.
  • Visible keyboard focus indicators and full keyboard access to menus and forms.
  • Colour combinations measured to meet or exceed WCAG AA contrast.
  • Text alternatives for informative images and decorative treatment for ornament.
  • Forms with labels, hints, and error messages tied to their fields.
  • Respect for reduced-motion preferences.
  • Responsive layouts that reflow without horizontal scrolling down to 320 pixels wide.

Known limitations

Some placeholder illustrations will be replaced with photography before launch; alt text will be reviewed at the same time. If you find a barrier we have missed, tell us.
